It arrived!

This is a book that has to be read with a calculator in hand. I can see myself setting up an xl spreadsheet just for the things I'm interested in. I just browsed through it tonight, reading little bits and pieces, and I'm very impressed. Thanks for the tip Darryl!

On the bike for 1.25 hrs. Good warmup with some spin drill, then 4x5 minutes hard, 2 minutes easy, cool down.

And I've been tagged. This will take some thought.

  4. awesome keith, keep us updated, you might end up teaching me somthing I don't understand yet. This cycling data is quite complicated, but on the other hand it's only as complicated as you want to make it. But it is nice to train and know exactly what effort to do to train dif. systems.

  6. I will have data soon, now that I know what to actually set up for. But I already have a pretty good idea where my FTP. Now I need to go back through the computer manual and figure out what all it will produce for me.

  7. I'll try not to bury people in numbers, since there are few things so boring as other people's numbers. I don't think my power computer produces the full spectrum of graphs like the full on bike one's do, but I'll have to go back into the manual. I'll probably talk about this a bit over the next till while. I'll have to sneak it into the blogs, because I'm sure if I mention it on Facebook when I pimp my blog nobody will visit.

  8. If I show Kris this, he might finally get into some physical activity. I mean, getting a workout AND a calculator in hand!?!? It's almost too awesome....

  9. To say nothing of using a spreadsheet to calculate workout results, or setting up a workout plan. It has an appeal to the engineers, that's for sure.
