Flowery Friday 8

Today we're starting at May 22 and going to May 24. It's mostly tulips, but at least there isn't any snow.

In current news, the double vax is kicking in. We are getting more social engagements again. We have several visits with friends either flanged up, or in the process. I'll be going to a community Stampede breakfast on Saturday with my camera. My first client shoot is next week. It's nice to be able to do all that, even if people are still a little spooked by the variants, and worried about a possible 4th wave.

In the garden there are still a few peony blossoms hanging in there, but I think they're now focussed on building their roots and doing whatever peonies do to prepare for winter. The lilies are just beginning to burst forth. The bees are having a great time with all the flowers.

Of the Day
Driftwood

Flower, lilies from the front patio the other day.

Peony

The front garden and nearby construction from July 2. The concrete has been removed, the forms installed, and the base gravel mixture has been tamped down. Concrete soon, I would think. Who votes I get out there while still wet to put a KC ♥ LM in it?

News flash! They are pouring concrete a block down, so they might do ours a little later today.
