Still nice out!

Everybody here is happy and amazed that we are still getting summer weather, essentially. As long as you ignore the leaves falling from the trees, that is.

Linda gave the lawn and flowerbeds a good watering over the weekend. The mint has perked up again and this morning it had at least a half dozen bees doing their thing. I haven't done a good bee session all this year, so today might be the last good day. I need to cut at least some parts of the lawn.

For all of you heading out to a Thanksgiving meal with family or friends, have fun! Eat that second slice of pumpkin pie for me. We had our meal on Saturday with some close friends and their family. That said, there's no shortage of yummy stuff to eat here.

On the photo front, I've taken the small camera out every day, though I'm still working on the same roll of film. Today I might take it out for a bit of a longer walk given the local pool is closed. I've been adding a photo a day to VERO, and plan to continue. These are usually not on the blog. If you want to see them too, VERO is a free download, I am @keithcartmell, you can follow me and see just my photos. No ads. No algorithm showing you what it thinks you want to see. Lots of photographers are migrating to VERO from Instagram. Plus there's a separate music feed, and film&TV, and podcasts, and a few other things I haven't checked out.

Or is it a fossilized sea serpent. Yes, that's Linda way off in the background.

You get a three-fer here today. They're really quite similar, and I wouldn't want you thinking I was sneaking in duplicates on you.

This is from 2017 about this time of year, well before they started the ring road construction.

    Hi Keith,
Blogger and my computer are having a momentary spat so here is my comment on:
    Still Nice Out

10 – Makes me smile – Hello my name is moose and I will be your guide for the next 2 hours.
12 – You have shared a number of images from this vantage point. I really like the way the flow of the river complements the flow of the hills in the middle distance.

    Cheers, Sean
