That was a big photographic month, with about 3000 images through the camera. However, 400 were for a private client session, and 900 were for the WCA Halloween party. That got edited down to 221 images on the WCA page here.
A trip to Jasper with some friends added up to another 1600 photos. Thats where the all of the IotM finalists come from, and there were some tough choices.

This panorama image would print out 3 feet wide by 20 inches in exquisite detail. It's not often photographers get a completely calm body of water, with something spectacular to be reflected.

Image of the Month
Somewhat unusually, picking out the winner this month was fairly easy. I was up early enough to see the sunrise starting to light up Pyramid Mountain, and had the time and foresight to compose the image as you see, with the neon nights playing an important role.
