We start with me out for a morning walk. I hadn't slept all that well, and was happy to have a bit of me time, and explore the places for coffee and treats. I think I've mentioned that Linda and I were in Jasper during a vacation back in the late 80's or so, and I had no memory of it, other than buying a wool jacket. Part of the wander was to get some fresh air, and see if anything sparked a memory. Not.
These are pretty much vacation snapshots, there I was and this is what I saw. But bear with me, there's some gorgeous mountain photos at the end. And maybe you've never seen Jasper before. It's lovely, and much less commercial than Banff. In nice weather it's less than a 5 hour drive from home, so maybe I'll have to make another trip there.

That dawn looks quite wonderful. I particularly like the first two. Of those two I like the first for the drama, and I find the second the most successful in terms of the neon echoing the shape of the mountain. Cheers, Sean
ReplyDeleteYou are the first person to pick out the neon sign echo. It wasn't an accident.
