Here's more photos from the Jasper trip. Plus current events.
1. Another reflection in a calm pond.
2. One of the fun things about night sessions is light painting nearby objects.
3. A nice rock.
4. The light on this was more interesting than the light on Mt Robson.
5. One of the photos of Mt Robson as we hoped for the clouds to clear.
6. The tour stops for reflections, among many other things.
7. The bridge on Pyramid lake where we had tried to capture the Milky Way and Northern Lights the previous night. Imagine (if you will) this bridge totally full of people trying to capture photos, as well as people trying to get out to the island.
8. Pyramid mountain from the island in Pyramid Lake. There will be more of this mountain.
9. One of our tour group taking a quiet moment.
10. Wildlife butt for Susi.
11. The more photogenic end, as it was taking it easy in the ditch right beside the road.
12.
13. From the bridge session, pity about the clouds moving in. Story of our evenings.
14. A really long exposure of a river by starlight. Only starlight, no moon, no light painting. My eyes could barely see anything.
15. After the photo session Neil had an idea for a group photo. I left my camera running for part of it.
In current events, it snowed a lot last night, maybe 3 cm or so on the ground.
This was completely predictable. It's happened before, and it will take most of the day to get a tow truck there. At least there are two routes around it, if you know them.
Of the Day

Do you fall off a cliff if you don't make the turn? Maybe.
Film (new)
Wildlife posing in Fish Creek Park.
And a serendipity of that image number.
Film (old)
Linda is wondering why I'm playing with the camera, instead of digging or hauling rocks. Taken late 80's is the best I can guess.
The wonderful thing about bendy buses is that they bend. The unfortunate thing about bendy buses is that when the bend badly they are really bent. I too like the light and perspective of 4. I still have not made it out to Pyramid lake - ah another spot for the ever growing list. Cheers, Sean
