In and around the red bridge

Not only is it the only covered bridge in New Brunswick painted red, it's the only covered bridge thats painted at all. The point of building a structure over the bridge was to protect the bridge itself. I'm thinking that the actual weather covering was replaced as needed. Once you start painting, you have to carry on as you replace boards. I confess I have no idea how they paint the middle of the sides.

We started at Wolfe Beach, (photos to come later) and worked our way back to the bridge.

4. The view from the window upstream. I talked to some parks staff that were doing some drone surveys and they said this is the driest they've ever seen this river. Normally you wouldn't see any gravel, and the trees would be a riot of colour.
