There we were, in Fredericton to have breakfast at Claudine's Eatery and stroll the Botanical Garden, and maybe Odell Park if we had the time. Claudines was one of the best meals of the trip, in Galaxy diner sort of way. Calgarians know what I'm talking about. The place was jammed when we got there mid-morning, and there was a line up when we left.
The Botanical gardens were lovely, even this late in the year. There were a number of nice photos of Linda, and the flowers still in bloom, so there might be a part 2 of this, but as we were jut about back to the car, the light through the trees got really lovely, and I was captured by the leaves flowing over the mossy rocks.
I'm often fascinated by the texture of stone, and especially when there's water, or moss, or interesting tree roots, and doubly so when the light is nice. And wood, and old tree stumps with new growth showing the circle of life. You might end up seeing a few of these again, since I'm taking a Lightroom course later this month, and I'm thinking of pushing these images a bit towards the digital art space.

I wouldn't have dared walk on that ice, and yet, there he was riding along.
