Another flowery fix for those who are getting snowed on today. We got the garden mostly put to bed yesterday, though Linda is kind of bookended between when her bulbs arrived (late) and what exactly the weather is doing.
She says she's a softie when it comes to gardening because it's hard for her to let the plants succumb to the season. So even though it's been cold overnight, some of the pentunias, a dahlia, the roses, and some other plants are still going pretty good, all things considered. See the rose in today's of the day feature.
But, she needs to clear out the pots for winter displays, and parts of some beds for the new bulbs. And it's supposed to snow today. One more nice day would have seen her finish. Stay tuned to see how the story turns out.

Of the Day
Celina is an odd kitty in some ways. Most would say she is "prettier" than Curtis was, yet he was much more photogenic. Still, there are photos of her and they'll show up periodically.
Flowers
What with the cold weather, the flowers are pretty well done. One dahlia survived, but the rest have drooped. They still make for interesting photos, stay tuned. One rose bloom, though I think it's several blooms tucked together, are still hanging in there, unprotected.
Driftwood
So here is my two cents, which you can of course choose to ignore, especially given the price. Many of your flower photos are very strong and I think they could be even stronger, if they had a little more space on the bottom. Images with strong elements (high visual weight) near the bottom can feel as if the subject is falling out of the image adding some space in those situations can reduce an images tension and still maintain the dynamic feel, without being static. For instance 2 is a nearly to my mind for that reason. I kept returning to 1, which I quite like for the sense of movement. 11 is lovely. Cheers, Sean
