The spot of ultimate stillness

It isn't quite as good a line as "Put the inside foot over the foot that is the other foot." But the source is the same, and it tickled my funny bone as we were settling into Savasana. It made me instantly think of the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness, and wondering if meditating on the The Most Fabulous Object in the World would bring it closer to me. Or me closer to it, but not so's you notice, at least not so far.

Yoga class is really nice when you go in without any aches and pains that you hope yoga will take care of, and can just enjoy the poses. I can't help but think back to when I started and could barely do it at all, any pose. Now it seems like I'm almost ready for the beginner class.

Meditated on upcoming posts. The failure of industry self-regulation, and if the young Mr. Trudeau can overcome the toxicity of the Liberal brand and revive a once great party.

  1. I have been LOVING yoga lately :) it's nice. I also meditate...though I don't receive awesome political discussions in mine ;)

  2. I think I need to wait until I can get private instruction for yoga. Every time I have tried in a class, I have ended up injuring a joint or pulling a muscle. I really WANT to like yoga, but I would like to point out that I have tiny little T-Rex arms so I can't really get into a downward dog without yanking my hamstrings out of whack...
