Many of you have gushed about how nice Linda's garden looks at the height of the blooms. And it does. But today you get to see what it looks like after the ravages of winter, and before Linda's tender loving care. That adds up to lots of photos to give you the full picture, so no Of the Day feature.
1. Some of the roses are starting to bud out.
2. The little hens and chicks are getting frisky with some tulips.
3. The only rose hip left from last year.
4. The base of a clematis.
5. Inside of the front patio.
6. Outside the front patio.
7.
8. The front flower boxes. The rose closest to us is what is budding out.
9. Another view of the front.
10. The other rose in front.
11. The imperial mint plant.
12. The mint plant and that part of the flower box.
13. The white peony. The red one on the other side of the box looks much the same.
14. The side flower bed with the two clematis plants rescued from the back fence some years ago.
15. Detail of the side bed.
16.
17. Beside the house.
21. More beside the house.
22.
23. The side lawn garden patch.
24. There's a tree peony in here, but we fear it didn't survive the winter.
25. The back patio garden.
26. More. There is a surprising amount of new growth coming up.
27.
28. I'm quite taken with these.
29. Beside the garage. It's looking like we might need to get some parging or concrete work done here.
