I managed to get a nice walk in Fish Creek near bridge 9 before the snowstorm rolled in. The bike path is bare and dry in most places, but all the foot paths that lead to interesting places are mostly linear puddles just now, and probably still have ice underneath in some places. I wasn't wearing rubber boots so I decided to only do the drier ones and turn back if it turned into a bog.
Since it was calm I was mainly looking for reflections. The water is low, which is a double edged sword. The good side is that I could walk into places that are normally underwater. The not so good is that less water makes reflection compositions more difficult.
Then again, if it was easy then everyone would do it and it wouldn't be fun any more.

Yes, the road less travelled has its rewards. And now to the photos.
ReplyDelete~ 1 - is a nearly for me and I am not sure why
~ 8 - There is much to like in the bottom right 2/3 of the image. I'm not convinced having the context of the top 1/4 of the image adds anything.
~ 13 - I really like the composition and the exposure.
~ 14 - Nice. I particularly like the umbrella and that Linda is walking out of the image.
~ 15 - Captured my interest but the placement of the horizon doesn't quite work for me and the building is too close to the edge for my taste.
Cheers, Sean
