The flowers are optimists

It's been really nice weather lately. I know it's a lure. So do you. We all know there is going to be more snow, and probably lots of it in one big dump. We just don't know when. Or even if. It might not, after all.

But the little plants either don't know, or don't care, or are willing to run the risk. I admire their optimism. Me, I think getting the winter tires taken off the car is optimistic for this time of the year.

I think it's tulips and daffodils getting started. But then, what do I know about flowers?

These are left over from last year. Even though essentially all the colour has faded, I still like the shapes.

I think this is from the bouquet given to us by friends. Even dried or dead flowers can be beautiful.

A photo of a print from a negative exposed during our visit to Nanton. I actually printed all 8 photos from that roll, and I'm mostly pleased with them. Well except for the one a nice passerby took where I look like a dork.  I'll probably revisit some of them and tweak the enlarger settings.

Why ever didn't I publish this, and maybe I did
