Flowery Friday 1

Garden photos are beginning to stack up, so even though it's still the beginning of May, I might as well get started sharing them with you. The way this works is that I go out and get garden photos when the blooms, the weather, and my mood intersect. It might be one photo of stunning artistry. Or it might be a bunch this is what it looks like on this particular day.

Sometimes I'll use a current photo in the blog for whatever reason. But the Flowery Friday are strictly in order oldest to newest, that haven't been blogged. I usually include a dozen or so, but try to include all of a particular day. Some days I get carried away.

For new readers, don't ask me what a particular flower might be. Ask Linda in a comment. I only know a few.

We start on April 24, with the remnants from last year that I'm still sort of fascinated with, even though they've faded now. We end on May 1. Spring came early this year, and we've all crossed our fingers we don't get a late season hard frost, or a big dump of snow.

I seriously thought of editing this so the top of the stump was level.

This is very nearly the entirety of the Dungeon Provincial Park. And no, there are no fences to keep you from walking into the hole. It's a long way down.

Why ever didn't I publish this, and maybe I did. It's Wellington, not Cuba.
