The Dempster Massage, as they call it

We are back. I have about 2800 photos to go through. Dawson City to the Arctic Circle and back. It is  extremely rough in places. Dusty. Fabulous scenery. You should do it. Here's some teaser photos for you. There will be more, I assure you. Susi, there is another Lynx butt! Our guide said when you see a Lynx on the Dempster, you buy a lottery ticket.

Here is the Arctic Circle proof. We met several people going to Tuk, on motercycles. The sunset there was amazing. Chatted with a photographer from San Diego who has some amazing aurora shots.

Back to Eagle Plains, where we stayed in the finest establishment. Ate supper, then headed out to find the aurora doing this, and more. Much more. Holy doodle.

As you can see, I was hiding behind some trucks to get away from the lights of the hotel, but it wasn't really necessary, the aurora was so bright. Kelly painted it with her flashlight.
