The last blooms of the season

The Cana lilies got a late start this year. We've been cheering on the orange one, hoping it would bloom before the snow flies. It just made it, though we don't know if it's going to make it through the cold spell coming.

Here it is on the 23rd, almost ready.

The roses are still going pretty good.

But today the orange Cana lily poked out and I had nice light for it.

There is one last orientpet lily that popped up by surprise.

We've had a busy day getting ready for winter, draining water barrels and putting them away. Snow Friday, they say, but you never really know.
