We survived the deluge

The rain deluge. It lasted for days. We were warm and dry. The flowers and lawn loved it. I'll have to cut the grass as soon as it actually dries out.

The bullshit deluge from so many sources seems like it's been going forever, with no foreseeable end.  I'm sure you have your own list of bullshit, and the sources it comes from. Time for another break from Facebook and Instagram. Text or phone me to get in touch. E-mail is getting sketchy with so much spam, and my internet provider playing with spam filters. There's days I think I should give up the nucleus account, start another one, and not tell anyone the address.

In happier news, the peonies are anticipating. This might go on for days. This post from 2 years ago says it all. Those photos are almost exactly where we are now.

May 22 Sean and I went for a ramble along the Elbow river in K country, going out as far as the end of the paved road and exploring along the river bed. Once again, I only took the big film camera. I am feeling more and more sympathy for the large format photographer that said, 'there are no good photos more than 500 m from the car park.' I don't want to carry both film and digital, because I end up using only one of them, and typically it will be digital. My bar for taking a digital photo is much lower than for film.

Here's my photos for the day.
