I wasn't out much last month. Most of it was bitterly cold and I was a weenie. The photos are fine examples of what they are, but most somewhat miss the mark of being image of the month for one reason or another.
Runner up
I'm not sure about my rules regarding this one. It's one of the most meaningful, since it's one of my images on public display in an art gallery. That's a first. The quibble is that technically speaking it's not my photo. Michelle took it. (Thank you!) You can see a digital version here, and read a bit of the back story of that.
Image of the Month
There was a bit of dither about this. There are several long exposure images of water that I quite liked. I chose this one because of the contrast between the texture of water and stone. I'll have more to say in a later blog about the trip that produced this image. Can't wait to see what this one looks like in print.
