In between all the normal rain over the last week or so we got, more rain. As in MORE rain! Our house is fine, but some of the people in our neighbourhood have flooded basements. Our community association hall had a bit of seepage. There are places in Calgary where the water was deep enough to submerge cars. I haven't read about hail, but maybe I missed it.
I managed to get out and sort of cut the lawn, but it's still well along the road to being a jungle. Walk on it, and the ground goes squelch. We're supposed to get a few days of sunny weather, and it will probably take all that to get it dry enough to actually cut properly. They weather people aren't calling for it, but with all the moisture evaporating into warm air, I won't be surprised if we get a few more afternoon showers.
Last night I was watching the last couple episodes of the Brokenwood Mysteries when Linda dragged me out to look at the sky. Yes, I ran for the camera. Here's some of what we were looking at. Most of this is looking south, and we suspect there was some heavy duty rain underneath it. That storm passed just to the south of us, so we didn't get any more.

Polar bears
There are another dozen or so photos of this bear, in about this spot, being extremely photogenic. And then I think that will be all.

Why ever didn't I publish this, and maybe I did
