Flowery Friday 1, 2023 edition

Some of you might remember that during the summer I have done a series of blogs with nothing but flowers that had not already made it to the blog. Last year I started in May, so I'm a bit late starting the feature this year.

None the less, there are lots of flower photos in the pipeline. Generally they will be presented in date order. There's a selfish reason for that; it's easiest for me to keep track of. However I might break it up a bit, if there are too many of one thing in a row. I wouldn't want to bore you.

1. Some new roses Linda got. They are living in these pots while Linda decides where they should go, and if we have voles eating the roots of our current roses. Right now Celina has caught 3 voles.

2. The white peony, not quite started for the year.

3. The last of the roses from last year.

4. Some of the first daffodils.

5. No idea what these are.

6.

7.

8. These are interesting looking plants. Don't ask.

9.

10. This looks odd because it's a long exposure film photo of the plants waving in the breeze.

And that gets us up to the May long weekend.

Of the Day
Driftwood (NZ)

Driftwood (BC)

Peony

Yukon (Miles Canyon)

Film (new)
Takakkaw Falls. I got a bit damp getting these photos.

Film (old)
Linda's dad, in his fire fighting gear, taken from an old film trove we discovered. We think this is late 1950's.
