Flowery Friday 15 trying to be calm

Flowers and gardens are normally thought of as being calming, restful places. Certainly ours is, on a warm summer day, bees buzzing, a breeze gently moving the flowers, with occasional scents wafting our way. In giving you flower friday I'm trying give you a sense of the calm and restful feeling as you drink your tipple and scroll down.

Getting there this morning was the opposite of calming and restful. Blogger, even the new version was not being cooperative about photos. Until today, they are usually in date and file order, though in the past I've mentioned Blogger scrambling the other. Today is more of that, and I particularly wanted to lead with this purple flower, with those drops almost ready to go, to give you that sense of anticipation. It just means taking Blogger's 'you can load multiple photos at once', with a big grain of salt. Lets not get into it freezing on loading, or playing games with centering and paragraph spacing. There weren't swear words, but it was close.

In the good news department, it does seem to be more mobile device friendly. My buddy Amy commented from two different mobile devices yesterday, and it worked! Comment moderation is still turned on, however, so they won't appear instantly. I'm usually pretty good about approving comments quickly. Hope to see yours!

  1. Wonderful as always. My minor quibble with some of these is that such 10, 11 the flower and petals are so close to the frame edge that an element of tension is added that doesn't appear to complement the softness in the rest of the image. Cheers, Sean
