Flowery Friday 1

I love taking photos in the garden. The flowers are beautiful, and there's always something different to see. Plus I'm working my photographic muscles, trying for new and interesting compositions. There's a documentary aspect as well, to see from year to year how the garden does, when plants bloom, and such.

Last year I got way behind on flower photos, and my readers seem to like them, so I started doing Flowery Fridays to catch up, doing 10 or a dozen at a time. I'm not sure how many unblogged flowers there are, but I figure if I start now there won't be a huge backlog in the fall.

Starting in New Zealand.
1. Aramoana beach.

2. Orokonui Ecosanctuary.

  2. Lots of lovely images here, Keith. Your flower pics are getting better all the time. I especially love the lily pads.

  3. Susi says "I always love the macro shots of flowers. Don’t know why but I do. I took some the other day with my camera too.

I was wanting Celine photos too, glad she demanded to get in on the action! "
